March is National Sleep Awareness Month, for the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing my foolproof tips, relaxing rituals, and mantras inspired by my forthcoming book that comes out March 11, 365 Happy Bedtime Mantras: Improve Your Sleep, Release Stress, and Enjoy Your Dreams (pre-order here).

I’ve spent the last couple of years working on my next book and it has radically transformed my emotional, and mental well-being. By researching, writing, and experimenting with rituals and wellness tools to help improve sleep and decrease stress, I’ve transformed my lifestyle. I am thrilled to be able to finally share these methods with you, to help you not only feel better but live better, from the inside out.

We all know getting a good night’s sleep is important, but how many of us prioritize it and make it part of our wellness routine? If you want to make 2025 your best year yet, focus on your quality of sleep.  

To kick things off, here are 5 powerful rituals to maximize your evening routines.

Night 1: Detox your sleep space
Relaxation Ritual:

Is your nightstand cluttered with unnecessary items? Is the lighting harsh? Do two things tonight to make your bedroom more inviting and remove what you no longer identify with anymore.

Night 2: Create your own sleep spray
Relaxation Ritual

Create your own relaxing aromatherapy spray by mixing water or rose water, and a few drops of your favorite essential oil in a spray bottle. Spritz on your pillows and bedding before bed.

Night 3: Blanket Burrito
Relaxation Ritual

Tonight, put on your softest pajamas and fluffiest slippers as an act of self-love. Notice how good it feels to be cozy and accepting of yourself in your own body. Make yourself into a blanket burrito to fall asleep. Use the blankets to wrap yourself in a giant hug, embraced in warmth and comfort. Continue to focus on the quality of your breath, breathing deeply and freely, knowing that you are safe.

Night 4: Appreciate what is going well
Rejuvenation Ritual

Tonight, as you lay yourself down to sleep, meditate on what the most abundant aspect of your life is right now and appreciate it fully. Gratitude creates more abundance.

Night 5: Self-Love Check-in
Relaxation Ritual

Tonight, as you get ready for bed, take a good look in the mirror as you think to yourself, I value, love, and respect you, and tell yourself three ways you love and appreciate yourself.
